Lawn & Garden Care

Anyone with a Green Thumb? A degree in earthy stuff? Or any great knowledge of gardening/ yard work? I'm sure I'm not the only one with these issues, so I am asking a few questions and hopefully I can get some "master gardener" advice.
1. What do you use to control/ kill Morning Glory?
2. How do you "prepare" your vegetable garden for next year? Compost? Soil?
3. When is the best time to plant trees? I've heard so many mixed answers to this question from local nurseries, so I hope that someone has "tested" it and really knows!
Oh, I have so many more questions, but these are the TOP ones I have right now.
Anyone?

The best time to plant trees is in the winter. It's a lot more difficult if you live where the ground freezes, however. This makes fall a great time, but early spring is okay, too. Don't plant them in summer.

By planting them in winter or late fall, they get a chance to develop a good root system before springtime.

Compost and manure and both good to add to your soil to prepare it for planting.
